Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground venison
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 2 teaspoons yellow mustard
  • ¼ cup beef broth OR water
  • 1 ½ tablespoons light brown sugar packed
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt

Instructions

  • Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add in the ground venison and cook until no longer pink and cooked through. Drain any excess and return the cooked meat to the skillet.
  • Add in the ketchup, mustard, brown sugar, onion powder, garlic powder, and salt. Stir well, making sure to combine all ingredients well.
  • Reduce heat to medium-low, cover, and simmer for 10 minutes to allow the sauce to thicken.
  • Spoon onto hamburger buns and serve!
