Big Mac Smash Tacos bring together the iconic flavors of a Big Mac with the fun of a taco! Juicy, seasoned beef patties are smashed and cooked onto tortillas, topped with shredded lettuce, shredded cheese, onions, pickles, and a tangy, homemade Big Mac sauce.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 8 small flour tortilla
  • 1 cup iceberg lettuce shredded
  • ½ cup white onion diced
  • 8 slices American cheese white or yellow
For the Big Mac Sauce
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sweet pickle relish
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1-2 tablespoons sugar adjust to taste
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions
 

Big Mac Sauce
  1. In a small bowl, combine the mayonnaise, sweet pickle relish, yellow mustard, white vinegar, onion powder, garlic powder, and paprika. Mix until smooth and well blended.
  2. Season with salt and pepper, to taste. Mix well again.
  3. Add in the sugar, starting with one tablespoon. Taste, and add more sugar if you prefer.
  4. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving, to allow the flavors to meld together.
Smash Tacos
  1. Divide the ground beef into 8 equal portions and roll them into balls.
  2. To a tortilla, center a ball of ground beef and press the meat into a thin layer. Season with salt and pepper, to taste.
  3. Heat the oil over medium-high heat and place the tortilla meat side down. Cook for 2-3 minutes and then flip. Continue to cook another 2-3 minutes. Add a slice of cheese and allow cheese to melt.
Assemble the Tacos
  1. Spread a spoonful of sauce onto each taco.
  2. Top with shredded lettuce, onion, and pickle slices.
  3. Drizzle with additional sauce. Serve and enjoy!
